Description
Our small split-level house has a large fenced backyard with screened-in porch, stone patio, and lots of trees. Our 2 playful 40 pound dogs have a dog door to access the backyard from our kitchen 24/7, so that would allow someone to take a 15 hour day trip to the mountains or the ocean and not worry about the dogs going potty. The Triangle may not be regarded as a vacation destination, but I’m a big fan of the Triangle and can recommend a diverse array of activities , plus we have easy drive to mountains and ocean. The NC State Fair will be going on during these dates. There is a town park with trails directly behind the house, and you will have access to my tennis club and receive free Carolina Hurricanes hockey tickets for their home games. Our dogs don’t do well with other dogs, but they do have experience with cats, so bringing your cat could be an option since we have gates to close off dog access to certain rooms or the entire lower floor. You’ll have option to extend dates a few days before we leave or after we return from our trip.
